what lies benaeth your heart , should overcome your fears of actually doing it on surface..
this one is dedicated to govind, ayush and piyush...
so here it is i am writing my first blog...
i never thought actually a person like me would go writing a blog but then you find friends like govind who push you , that you can always do things for the pleasure of living life in a bigger way, sharing your experiences with the world and most importantly taking inputs too...
i am writing and the main reason for it is i want to grasp and conserve all the litlle memories i ever lived with my friends.those moments wont come back but atleast writing it somewhere about it would let me cherish it whenever i want to escape from the normal day to day routine that keeps all us buzy and put a smile on our face (atleast mine)...
so this one will be about a little trip we made...
the trip was wonderful for many reasons the way it took place,
actually i am not writing this for seeing many beautiful breath-taking places...frankly speaking we saw nothing much except the dirt road we travelled on , feeling the paining neck for recklessly driving for about 14- 16 hours a day and actually we missed a lot of "must watch" things in that place...
but i tell you why it was special, we saw friendship in each other, we saw in each other the power to overcome many hurdles and obstructions just to drive in the hills , the support of each other to make it happen...
with almost nothing going by our side but still the determination to make it happen really made it special...
it was nothing extra-ordinary that we did by world standards but it was more than enough for 4 of us to live and be happy always remembring it for our lives...
with 2 motor-bikes having no surity whether it would drive so long for 3 days but we took the risk..bearing some consequences too but it was worth...
i myself had a big doubt that by seeing the conditions of bike, it wont have much power to ride up the hills but to our astonishment they did beautifully...
the night before the trip i, who actually planned the idea for the trip, wanted to postpone it further for the next weekend, coz my presentation for my 4 credit was might be going to happen on following monday, but it was uncertain whether it would take place or not...
i was really upset that my other mates were going for it and i had to sit back and learn the 25 page ppt ...i really inside my heart ddnt want them to go and postpone it at any cost...
but then govind came and really have the charismatic power to influence you without even letting you know...for example, by telling his own side of story why this trip was so i that always pertains from the college side...but he convinced me to take the risk for the trip without even letting me know...i was angry an hour ago before he talked to me but within some time he can not only let the anger go off from your body but also some put some sense in your brains...he convinced me to take the risk and believe me i was really happy to take the risk...and moreover that ppt never took place on the following monday , it got postponed by a week...
the journey started with actually we having no bike at all, the sources seem to shrink every minute and our hopes too....

the journey started with actually we having no bike at all, the sources seem to shrink every minute and our hopes too....
our theory was simple ; let the trip start , planning would follow by itself....
but the start wasnt starting...where were the bikes we had to go...nowhere...!!!
so after scratching ur heads for the whole night we found possibilities of having a bike, somne confirmation too from our friends but no keys in hands and that was the main thing...
the night went by and we dreamt (atleast i dreamt a lot that night) that i would do dis do that... was excited a lot...this was my first bike trip after all for 3 days...and the excitement would be understood by only those who actually ever made a trip like this in their life...
so next morning, i wake up and we decide that by 12 we would leave our hostels and would start at last...
i called up govind to confirm that have we got any bike till yet...??? he replied still optimisticly that

i called up govind to confirm that have we got any bike till yet...??? he replied still optimisticly that
dont worry we will get soon... i messaged the rest 2 guys ( ayush and piyush ) that dont attend any classes... we are bunking the full day and get ready with luggage and most importantly ayush's DSLR....u cant enjoy a trip with memories .... its my serious suggestion to all the readers( if any of you
do actually read it ) do carry a good camera and click as many pictures as you
can...anything jus click it...some of it might look waste initially but dont
delete it because later on you would realize it was worth clicking a pic that
moment....
so while enroute to our journey we tried to do everything that we felt like doing, even if anyone resisted initially but later on he would have enjoyed that too for sure...
thats the most important thing for a trip. jus have beautiful life-long friends along with you and just move on wherever the road takes you...do anything you want to...face all the problems equally and mind you Problems will be there, if not , turn back your bike and start the trip all over again...
it may be your bike breaking down in the middle of the night on a lonely road not having a single street light....
may be you have to spend the whole night in a dhaba because you dont want to spend money uselessly on a room...
it may be your bike didnot have the capacity or power enough to ride you uphill and then you see the distance sign written 60 kms on it and then you wonder what to do....
may be you are just driving for an hour or so not even knowing whether the road taken is correct or not....
many things happen with ones who go for a trip and it should happen in my point of view otherwise what is the point travelling to a new place...you could rather sit down and relax in your place....
it was 11 am but we got only bike yet...the other bike was been
with someone else and he told us he would return in short time..guys when you
are in college , your friends never tell you the exact purpose of taking your
bike....even if they are goin for a 2 hour date with their girlfriend , they
would swear that they would return in 10 minutes and would never pick up your
phone wont answer your messages too, and when they return they always have
something good in their mind to make up things...and my personal favourite line
is
" yaar
tension naa le, kal beer peela dunga"...and after this line , things
are more perfect than to normal condition...but luckily the guy with the bike
returned within an hour...the other bike being lml " crd "
finally we have the keys...but the conditions of bike were more
than awesome...no brakes at all, crd bike had head lights near to neglible,...
it was like both the bikes could ditch us anywhere in the trip...so me and
ayush went to amend things in the bike ,whichever was possible... but as we
gathered and jus started the trip to just petrol pump initially....it started
raining cats and dogs and on the top of that one of the bikes petrol got
finished.... i decided to pull the bike with ayush and let them go to the
pump...we reached there within 10 minutes, and the best thing i
realised that moment the advantage of having nokia 1200 in your pocket....it
would be affected the least in situations like these...
we filled up our tanks and decided lets move on whether there is rain or anything...lets start the trip and we did that...by moving just 15 kms only ,rain was off but that was never a serious concern for us...to protect our camera was....
( starting from left : Ayush , Govind , Me , Piyush )
now i wont tell what we actually did in that trip, that would be too long too tell something for which i have started writing my first blog...
a journey when starts will definately end somewhere...
actually we while riding for this trip, we all realized the most important
" the destination never matters, but the journey does"...
while writing after 1 year, im experiencing and remembering so many things now, which would not happen otherwise and feeling so good the fact we actually did make that happen....
i myself is a big fan of movies like dil chahta hai, motorcycle diaries, zindagi na mille dubara,... and we as a group always try once in a semester to go out for a "trip of our lifetime"...this is our 7th sem and we all are having 6 months training and then the final sem...
exactly after 1 year some of our friends would be doing a white collar job in a big corporate house, some would be pursuing higher studies, some would leave the country never to return....
and that is the whole point...we decided to live the time whenever we get even while going to tiniest of places on earth...
and after a year from now on or so i wont expect that if we get a sms that lets pack the bag and hit the road it would be possible...
but we do realize that the time in which we can make it possible we actually go for it....
and yes the our destination was Mcleod Gunj
